About Fingermouse

Fingermouse Internet is run by Simon Jamie, a freelance web developer based near Nottingham, UK.

After an initial BSc in Geophysical Sciences at Leeds University, Simon went on to study programming and gained qualifications in developing applications in C/C++. These were followed by an MSc with Distinction in Engineering Multimedia at NTU.

Simon moved on to join a small web development company and expanded his graphics work before becoming head designer after a relatively short time. This was followed by a period running a small development team at another technology company before leaving to go freelance.

Current work involves development for a number of companies with varying requirements, and responsibilities include graphic design, on-site support, server-side and client-side scripting, database development and application programming.
