About Fingermouse

Fingermouse Internet is Simon Jamie, a freelance web developer based near Nottingham, UK.

Since 1999, Fingermouse has helped businesses and individuals market their products or services both online and in more traditional print media. Fingermouse also develops full online applications for anything from community sites through online magazines to office administration systems.

History

After an initial BSc (Hons) in Geophysical Sciences at Leeds University, Simon went on to study application programming in C and C++. This was followed by an MSc (with Distinction) in Engineering Multimedia at Nottingahm Trent University.

Simon moved on to join a small web development company and expanded his graphics work, becoming head designer. This was followed by a period leading a small development team at another technology company before leaving to go freelance.

Current work involves development for a number of companies with widely varying requirements. Responsibilities include graphic design, on-site support, server-side and client-side scripting, database development and application programming.
